The story behind Black Rose
Black Rose Home Baking was born from a passion for baking that has been part of my life since I was 12 years old. What started as something I simply enjoyed doing gradually became a true passion and, over the years, baking became much more than a hobby. It became my way of switching off from everyday life, finding calm and expressing my creativity.
I started Black Rose because I wanted to turn that passion into something I could share with others. I love creating beautiful, homemade cakes and bakes that become part of someone’s special moments — whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, family celebration or simply a little treat for someone you love.
What I enjoy most is the creative process. I love developing flavours, combining textures, experimenting with new ideas and turning a customer’s vision into something unique. I especially enjoy the finishing touches and decoration, because I believe a cake should look as beautiful as it tastes.
Quality and attention to detail are very important to me. I use carefully selected ingredients and make everything in small batches, taking the time to make each order feel personal and special. I also love creating personalised options, including vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free bakes, made to order where possible.
Black Rose Home Baking is a small, personal business built around something I have loved since I was a child. Every cake and every box of bakes is made with the same care, creativity and passion that started my baking journey all those years ago.
